Our asparagus is harvested daily.

The white asparagus grown on the farm is a spring delight not to be missed !

  • A stalk of asparagus weighs between 20 and 80 grams. It can be white, purple or green, depending on how long it is exposed to the sun. Its bitter taste may be more or less pronounced.
  • The asparagus on our farm is white, soft and fibre-free.
  • Asparagus is rich in potassium, calcium, magnesium and vitamins (B9). Relatively low in calories, you can eat to your heart’s content.
  • Before you sit down to eat, you will need to be patient and cook it in steam or boil in water. It can be enjoyed simply with a mix of vinaigrettes or cooked as a velvely gratin. It also goes very well with meat.

The green asparagus : to be eaten in spring only !

  • An asparagus weighs between 20 and 80 grams. Its slightly bitter taste can be more or less pronounced.
  • Green asparagus is rich in vitamins, minerals and fibre.
  • You can eat it cooked in water or fried

      Red berries

      Our Blueberries

      Enjoy the benefits of the fruit and also of nature.
      A small gourmet berry, the bilberry will seduce you with its pretty hue and fragrant taste, slightly sweet and tart. The bilberry evokes the jams of yesteryear but also offers, with its fresh, floral and woody flavours, a wide range of culinary possibilities or simply eaten plain!
      The flesh of the bilberry is juicy and soft. Its characteristic fragrance is not soon forgotten!
      Its colour varies from blue-black to blue-purple.
      In France, there are two types of bilberry:
      . Wild, it is then called black bilberry or brimbelle ;
      . Cultivated, it is called blueberry.
      Taste it plain and let its flavours burst in your mouth, or use it in dishes and cakes.
      Low in calories, the bilberry is high in fibre and vitamins C, E and B3 as well as minerals (potassium) and trace elements such as manganese.
      The blueberry is available from June to the end of August.

      Our Raspberries

      Enjoy the benefits of the fruit and also of nature.
      The fruits of the Rubus species, of which the raspberry is a part, are known to be rich in antioxidant components, especially vitamin C, carotenoids and polyphenols.
      The colour of raspberries can vary from dark purple to raspberry to yellow.
      Raspberries are also known to be a fragrant and tart berry. The main volatile flavour compounds in raspberries are mainly C6 compounds, lactones, and terpene derivatives. Ketone compounds have also been identified. Among them, raspberry ketone would be at the origin of the characteristic aroma of this fruit.
      The red raspberry is rich in anthocyanins with potential effects on obesity, chemo prevention, inflammation and immune regulation.
      It can be eaten on its own, but reveals all its rich flavours in various culinary preparations: jams, tarts, jellies, ice creams, etc.
      The raspberry is available in July and August.

      Our Blackberries

      Enjoy the benefits of the fruit and also of nature.
      A gourmet fruit par excellence, the cultivated blackberry offers a whole range of flavours. The small fruit with its beautiful dark colour is a regular in the kitchen. The blackberry is also an essential ally for your well-being.
      The cultivated blackberry has a sweet and sour taste.
      It has a lovely, darker or lighter purple colour.
      Raw or cooked, it has a great affinity with both sweet and savoury dishes.
      It is rich in vitamins and minerals and has a particularly high content of pigments with antioxidant properties.
      The blackberry is available from mid-July to August.

      Our Blackcurrants

      Enjoy the benefits of the fruit and also of nature.
      This tart and juicy fruit can be eaten plain or prepared. Rich in nutrients and vitamins, blackcurrants contribute to your daily vitality during the summer.
      The blackcurrant berry weighs only a few grams. Its smooth, shiny skin, ranging from deep blue to liquorice black, covers a juicy, tart flesh.
      Blackcurrants are low in calories and high in vitamins C and B9, minerals such as potassium and trace elements such as beta-carotene (among others).
      It can be eaten on its own but reveals all its rich flavour in various culinary preparations: jams, tarts, jellies, ice creams, etc.
      Blackcurrants are available in mid-July and August.

      Our Gooseberries

      Enjoy the benefits of the fruit and also of nature.
      Refreshing berries and full of juice! Take a red grape, crush it and let its tangy taste explode in your mouth! Ideal for appetizers and summer desserts, this fruit also brings its vitamin notes to meals.
      The redcurrant is usually a beautiful bright red colour but can also be white. The flesh is sweet, juicy and slightly acidic.
      The redcurrant is ideal for your culinary desires: jams, jellies, ice creams, pies, sauces, …
      Don’t be afraid of its sour taste, this small berry is moderately sweet, rich in vitamins, minerals (e.g. potassium) and trace elements (e.g. iron).
      The currant is available July – August.

      Our strawberries

      ONLY IN DURRENBACH / MORSBRONN-LES-BAINS

      Enjoy the benefits of the fruit and also of nature.
      The strawberry is one of the most popular nutritious fruits among the berries, with a very attractive bright red colour.

      It is a non-climacteric fruit whose colour changes during ripening from green-white to dark red in about 40 days.

      The strawberry is also characterised by its low firmness.

      Its irresistible flavour and smell are a very complex mixture. The strawberry has a low energy value. However, it is rich in vitamin C and B9, a source of fibre and is fat-free.

      Strawberries can be eaten raw or cooked!

      Taste it plain and let its flavours burst in your mouth!

      For dessert : charlotte, tart, tartlet, ice cream, highlight the flavour of the strawberry which changes with the season, over time, but is always just as tasty.

      Crops

      Cereals such as wheat, maize, etc. are grown by us, in particular for feeding the horses boarding at the farm.
      In addition to the cereal crops, we also produce fodder and straw for the horses.
      We want to ensure the optimal well-being of our four-legged guests.

      Thanks to the local fruit and vegetable calendar, you will no longer miss the season of your favourite foods.
      You can enjoy your favourite fruit and vegetables at the right time, in season.
      What’s more, by eating locally and in season, we emit as few greenhouse gas emissions as possible, which is good for our beautiful planet Earth.
