Spaghetti squash with carbonara gratin

Preparation time: 10 min. / Cooking time: 40 min. / Easy to make / Cost: cheap


For 4 persons
1 spaghetti squash (about 2 kg)
2 onions
200 g bacon
25 cl thick fresh cream
100 g Parmesan cheese

Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.

Bake the squash for 30 minutes at 180°C.

Meanwhile, brown the bacon (with the bacon from the farm, it will be even better) and onions. Turn off the fire, add the crème fraîche, a little salt and pepper. Mix it up.

After 30 minutes of cooking the spaghetti squash, fill the 2 lengths with the previous mixture of bacon/cream/onions.

Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

Let it cook again for 10 to 15 minutes

Serve hot.

Anyway, the dish will be delicious!

Tips :
. You have the possibility to realize different variants. Thus, you can replace the bacon with ham, mushrooms, chorizo… Everyone is free to let their imagination run wild.
. The bacon cut with the bacon from the farm will be even better.
. Cream and parmesan cheese can be purchased from the market cheesemaker beforehand.
